Very rare 1940's Police Warrant Card for the London Passenger Transport Board.

These warrant cards are now fairly impossible to obtain. It's in incredible condition for it's age.A real chance to own a piece of history whether that is for WW2 era, transport, police or even for the One Shilling stamp contained.

A black leather outer with gold embossed LPTB logo and 'Police Warrant Card' on the front. Paper interior reads:

London Passenger Transport Board Police.

This is to certify that I, one of the magistrates of the Police Courts of the Metropolis have, on the application of the London Passenger Transport Board pursuant to the powers in that behalf vested in me by Section 107 if the London Passenger Transport Act, 1934 appointed William Daniel Wood to act as one of the constables mentioned in the said Act in and upon the property the Board as therein specified.

This is his authority for executing the duties of that office.
